Share Your SENTRO Knitting Experience
Love knitting with SENTRO? Have a useful tip, a creative project, or a practical solution to share? We’d love to hear from you.
Join our community of makers, creators, and experienced users to help others learn, create, and get more out of their SENTRO knitting machines.
We are an authorised SENTRO knitting machine store, not the manufacturer. We run this contributor programme to build a professional, trustworthy SENTRO content centre, based on real experience — not on generic articles written without ever using the machine.
01. What We’re Looking For
We welcome two kinds of contributors:
SENTRO Creators & Experienced Users — our priority contributors
People who actually use SENTRO machines and can share original tutorials, real finished work, hands-on experience, troubleshooting solutions, and their own author profile. This includes makers, tutorial creators, and users with repair and maintenance experience.
Guest Bloggers
Outside authors with professional experience in knitting, yarn, or handmade crafts, who can contribute yarn knowledge, knitting techniques, project ideas, or knowledge about tools and materials. Guest contributions are reviewed article by article.

02. Content Guidelines
Content must be interesting, unique, 100% original, and not posted anywhere else. It should provide real value to our readers, not repeat common knowledge.
The word count for a full article is normally 600 to 2,500 words. We are looking for in-depth, high-quality content, which usually means something within this range.
Please write from your own experience:
- Priority is given to authors who have actually used a SENTRO machine.
- Share real making experience and real ways you solved a problem.
- Where you mention a specific model, accessory, or machine specification, make sure the information is accurate.
- If you mention another brand’s product, describe it objectively and accurately.
- For troubleshooting and repair, only describe methods you have actually used or can verify. Please do not guess at a repair method.
03. Images & Media
Real photos of SENTRO making and finished work are especially valuable to us — for example, step-by-step making, finished hats and scarves, and close-up details from troubleshooting.
Image submission rules:
- We give priority to photos you took yourself.
- You must own the copyright in the images, or hold lawful authorisation to use them.
- By submitting images, you grant sentroknit.com a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them on our website, social media, and related promotional channels. You keep ownership of your images and you may continue to use them on your own Instagram, YouTube, personal website, and other platforms.
- We do not accept unauthorised YouTube screenshots, images copied from other websites, or product images that are not your own.
- For some special tutorials, our editorial team may help with illustrations.
Please do not send screenshots from other people’s YouTube videos, or images copied from other websites, shops, or manuals. If a photo is not your own work, or you do not have permission to share it, do not send it.
04. Links & Promotion
Links in a contribution are for readers and for author identity, not a reward package for posting.
- You may have one relevant website link in your author profile.
- If an article genuinely needs to refer to your own relevant tutorial, we may add a link at our editorial discretion.
- Where a claim needs support, please cite a relevant, authoritative source.
- We reserve the right to reject or request changes to any link or anchor text. All links should open in a new page.
- We do not accept keyword-stuffed, commercial, promotional, or irrelevant links.
- Please do not add your affiliate links. We may add our own links to an article.
We do not promise a fixed number of backlinks per article, and backlinks are not the main benefit of contributing.
05. Author Recognition
We want readers to know who wrote an article, not only that it came from our store team.
Contributors can receive:
- An article byline and a short author biography
- An author profile photo and links to their YouTube, Instagram, or personal website
- A showcase for their work and tutorials
- The opportunity to contribute further articles
Contributors who publish with us regularly may be invited to contribute on an ongoing basis. Contributors with repair experience may, over time, be invited to cover a specialist topic area. These are invitations based on published work, not a promise made to every first-time contributor.
06. Editorial Review & Publication
We review contributions for accuracy, originality, images, and links, and we may edit writing for clarity, grammar, style, and accuracy.
We prioritise articles that are based on real experience, original, helpful, and that meet our editorial standards.
From the moment an article is finalised and accepted, it will normally be published within 5 to 10 business days.
07. Copyright & Usage Rights
If your article is accepted:
- You retain copyright ownership of your article.
- You grant sentroknit.com an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide licence to publish and use the article.
- You agree not to publish or republish the same article on any other website.
- You retain attribution as the author of the article.
This is an exclusive licence to use the article, not a transfer of all of your copyright ownership. Image rights are covered separately in Section 03: images are licensed to us on a perpetual, non-exclusive basis, so you keep ownership of your images.
08. Compensation & Benefits
There is no payment per article, and we do not pay you for every article you have submitted.
The benefits of contributing are:
- Author byline, profile, and showcase for your work
- The chance to help other SENTRO users learn and create
- The opportunity to contribute regularly and build a contributor profile with us
- One relevant website link in your author profile, as described in Section 04
You do not need a website to contribute. Your profile and work can still be showcased.
09. How to Submit
Please start with a topic, not a finished article. This helps us check whether a topic is already covered, fits our content plan, and belongs in the Knowledge Hub before you write a full piece.
Step 1. Submit a Topic
Email us with your proposed topic, a short summary, and your relevant SENTRO experience, including which model or models you have used.
Step 2. Editorial Review
Our editorial team will review your topic against our content plan and let you know whether it fits.
Step 3. Submit Your Article
Once your topic is approved, please submit the full article and your original photos in a Microsoft Word or Google Doc. The article should include H1, H2, and H3 headings and subheadings.
Step 4. Review and Editing
We will check content accuracy, originality, images, and links, and we may suggest improvements.
Step 5. Publication
Once approved, your article will be published with your author information.
Before you submit, a short checklist
- Is this based on my real SENTRO experience?
- Is it original and not published anywhere else?
- Will it help readers learn, make, or solve a problem?
- Is the model, accessory, and specification information accurate?
- Are the photos my own, or do I have permission to share them?
For submission and queries, please contact us at sentrotoy@gmail.com.
Thanks again for your interest in contributing to sentroknit.com. We look forward to learning from your SENTRO experience and sharing it with other makers.
